An Integrated Systems Model for Heavy Ion Drivers
نویسندگان
چکیده
A source-to-target computer model for an induction linac driver for heavy ion fusion has been developed and used to define a reference case driver that meets the requirements of one current target design. Key features of the modelare discussed, and the design parameters of the reference case design are described. Examples of the systems analyses leading to the point design are given, and directions for future work are noted.

Prediction of Driver’s Accelerating Behavior in the Stop and Go Maneuvers Using Genetic Algorithm-Artificial Neural Network Hybrid Intelligence
Research on vehicle longitudinal control with a stop and go system is presently one of the most important topics in the field of intelligent transportation systems. The purpose of stop and go systems is to assist drivers for repeatedly accelerate and stop their vehicles in traffic jams. This system can improve the driving comfort, safety and reduce the danger of collisions and fuel consumption....
متن کاملDeveloping a Model of Heterogeneity in Driver’s Behavior
Intelligent Driver Model (IDM) is a well-known microscopic model of traffic flow within the traffic engineering societies. While it is a powerful technique for modeling traffic flows, the Intelligent Driver Model lacks the potential of accommodating the notion of drivers’ heterogeneous behavior whenever they are on roads. Concerning the above mentioned, this paper takes the lane to recognize th...

Recent developments in gas-to-liquid conversion industry lead to reduction in initial investment, and it is expected by growth in demand for refined products in countries and the need to import these products in the countries. Implementing such projects can prevent currency outflow. In this article an integrated structure is developed for producing liquid fuels from natural gas through Fischer-...
متن کاملIon Sources and Injectors for Hif Induction Linacs
For heavy ion fusion (HIF) induction linac drivers, a typical injector requires total beam current of 50-100 A and is comprised of many individual beams of 0.5-1.0 A each. As a step towards developing a full ion driver for inertial fusion energy (IFE) power plants, an Integrated Research Experiment (IRE) will be proposed within a few years [1]. The IRE will have a linac of more than 150 MeV and...
متن کاملLane-Changing Decision Model for Heavy Vehicle Drivers
Lane changing manoeuvres of heavy vehicles have significant influence on surrounding traffic characteristics due to the physical effects that the heavy vehicles impose on surrounding vehicles. These effects are the result of heavy vehicles’ length, size, weight and the limitations in their manoeuvrability. Due to the importance of heavy vehicle lane changing manoeuvres, this paper presents an e...
